Chats and controls
Conversations, projects and activity.
The main screen brings your chats together. The + button creates a new conversation with the bot and project you select.
Organize your work
Filter by project and workspace folder, search conversations, pin recurring chats and find archived ones. New drafts keep the destination you select.
Read replies as they arrive
Markdown with lists, tables, links and copyable code. Thinking and tool calls stay compact; inspect their details individually. Questions and approvals remain visible.
Follow and stop a run
Send messages and attachments, answer agent requests and use Stop when needed. Notifications keep followed runs updated in the background, within Android’s limits.
Server tools
Workspace and bots in one client.
Browse workspace files and access bots, groups, Git operations, scheduled jobs, Kanban, Skills, Memory, Soul and usage. Available features depend on your server and installed plugins.
Voice conversation uses local recognition and offline voices when supported by your phone. Server dictation is separate and returns a draft for review.

Connect directly to your host.
Your selected server manages models, tools and execution. Configure multiple hosts: credentials, drafts and local conversation copies are isolated and encrypted using Android Keystore.
No ads or analytics. If you choose “Report response”, you can edit the text before sending it to the developer’s reporting service; ordinary conversations are not automatically sent to the developer.

Download SommoHermes.
The APK is available to everyone, with no signup required. Install the app and connect your Hermes server.
The public Google Play release is under review. The store listing will be available after approval.
Before you start
Phone and voice
Android 8.0+. On-device speech recognition requires Android 12+ and available local resources. Microphone and notification access are optional.
Server and network
Hermes 0.21.3+ or compatible legacy hermes-webui, with fewer features. Use HTTPS and a host reachable over your network or VPN.
SommoHermes is an independent client based on Hermex, distributed under the MIT license. It is not an official Nous Research app and does not include a public AI service.
